In the middle of clover Town stood a big house, surounded by big stone walls, the only entrance was baricaded with a big steel gate, a somewhat older man stood guard, he was relaxing against the wall, enjoying the nice weather, the garden was enveloped by good smells of a barbeque

Talos had been in town for a days looking for any job he could do. It was hard mages not associated with guilds to make a living. Even more so when you weren't known. Luckily herd about this ingredient mission. He figured take that would offer the largest reward.

The house was easy enough to find since it stuck out so prominently. Approaching the front of the gate he saw man standing outside. Figuring the man worked at the house he to him. "Im here about job I herd of getting some eggs . Do you know anything about that? "

the man rubbed some sleep out of his eyes and took a look at the man, he yawned and stared a few seconds ''master would be happy to hear that'' He opened the gate and lead the way to where his master was.
The man awaited the mage and a waiter offered the man a drink when they walked towards the master
the master smiled and said'' so you wanted to get me some eggs, I heard vulture eggs tasted great, the mountain to the east has a few nest, get me three eggs and make sure they are not broken or anything'' the man was strict about food.

Declining the drink he kept his focus on the client shuddering he thought the sooner he was outside again the better. Inside his head Talos grinned this job was made for him if there was anything his magic excellent at it preventing damage that was its chief design.

Certainly I can manage that. If thats all there is to I shall have at it." Turning he starts heading out but not so fast that the man could not stop him if he wished to say more.

Arriving at the tall mountain that would be quite a climb the man had a few choices, he could climb up the steep walls or chooese one of the two paths on the mountain,
the left path was very small and had narrow creecks where you could squeeze too, the right path was a lot bigger but looked more unstable and had cracks in the wall

After carefully looking the mountain over from its foot he decides to go on the the narrow. Thinking to himself that he could use the narrow path to his advantage. "Ill use the narrowness of the path help me scale the mountain in order to help climb higher and progress farther along the path." He begins ascending up the narrow crevice using both sides of the wall when needed for balance and footing.

the man took a smart move, but what he didnt knew, is that vultures didnt like people invading their mountain, that if someone started climbing they would want to bring it down, the bigger birds couldnt enter the small creeck but the younger ones could, one of the birds flew towards the man that had inviltrated them and started picking on his hands,

Even though these birds could manage to fly around in this small crevice their maneuverability would be greatly decreased. The birds however did not come after him quietly. Talos managed exhert magical power before getting his hand peck. As quickly as the bird could pecked his hand the bounce magic should push the young vulture into the mountains wall injuring it with force greater that he was pecking and flying with.

as the bird was sent flewn in the wall, the other kids flew away, they didnt want to get hurt,
the higher talos would come the harder the wind, he would have a hard time getting up with the high wind also when he would reach the top of the hill the vultures wouldnt welome him friendly since Talos hurt their kids

Exhaling deeply as if it were sign of relief he knew he wasnt done yet. The hardest part still up ahead. And to make matters worse he had hurt a child of theirs. Uppon reaching the summit Talos waited a little while in the crevice in order take a look around from its shelter, hopping he could a clear view of a nest. Using his archive magic he pin pointed the likely location and from the wind patterns reduced the locations from there. If the vultures were attack him the would 'likely' travel with the wind.

He waited for the wind to blow in his favor and started head towards a nest

There were three nests, one of them had only one egg in it while the others had two, the one with one it was the most heavy guarded an old vulture with a long neck sat on that nest together with a few younger ones around them,
the two nests that continued two eggs each were less guarded but on the edge off the mountain in the shadow of some withered trees,
Using the wind a few younger voltures attacked they were bigger then the kids but not fullgrown,

in total there were 8 vultures 2 of them were attacking, while 4 were guarding the nest with one egg, on the other nests sat just one vulture,

There was no point in trying to go for the eggs with all these fowls as foes and the wind he could not fight the way he typically did. Back before most of his magic was capped this mission would has been as throwing th eggs down the mountain letting his magic aura bounce birds away. But Talos had no memory of that so he didn't relish in the past.

He followed along the crevice letting the birds come to him he attempted to punch the nearest bird into the other.

As the bird bounced into eachother by the punch the man gave the wind stopped for a bit, giving the man room too move, from out of the nests the birds checked what the man would do, they were protective and wouldnt let their eggs get stolen with out a fight

There was no way for Talos to know how many eggs each nest contained but he sure enough didn't want the vultures chasing him through out the mission expecially the older one. There was only one thing to do eliminate them all. Talos goes indirectly for the nest by the tree. He tries to bend the tree down in a fashion that its branches will prevent the bird bird from flying away but not crushing the the bird or damaging the eggs. With his free hand pushes a branch into the vultures head.

Bending the tree allowed talos to get two vulture eggs, the vultures couldnt do anything as they were blocked by the tree, the abled ones decided to go back to guard the other two nests hoping to prevent the last three eggs from the thief that entered their teritory

Deciding to wait to collect them until the fighting was done Talos moved to the next nest. It was time to go after the bosses nest. Although vultures were large the beaks were pretty weak in comparison to some other birds of prey. At best he he would substain minor injuries. Beating the boss may even cause the rest to retreat. Approaching from the inward part of the summit, he didnt want to get knock off the mountain, he picked up a jagged rock that wasnt heavy. As he approached the boss.

The vultures knew they didn;t had a chance, their bluffing hadn't worked, they didnt want more of them to get hurt so decided to take two of the eggs with them and flew off, at a fast speed, they couldnt take more of them because the man was too close, the vultures were quite smart, but it was hard for them to sacrafice their kids.

Noticing that the birds turning away from him he relized that they weren't begining to attack but run. Summoning good amount of magic in his legs they glowed red, he rushed forward jumping hard off one leg put him quickly in grasp of both birds by their wings. He squeezed the wings hard enough that it would mess up crucial flight feathers and damage wings themselves. Not want to risk somthing like this again he pocketed these eggs seperatly.

As the birds got away and as talos had gathered the eggs the quest was almost done, Talos would only have to bring the eggs back to the man and claim the reward

After collecting the 5 eggs Talos carefully journeyed back to the clients house. Wants again telling the guard why he was there

the guard inspected the eggs, they are really vulture eggs, looking happy the guard yelled his boss over, '' look he got the vulture eggs'' the rich man accepted them happily and gave talos his reward
