Im not sure what forum site you are using for the board, but i remember on invisionfree powered boards you could create groups. And i was thinking why not create those and place the members of each guild into them. That way when you are scrolling through a thread you can see what guild people are apart of. Not sure how it would work with people with multiple characters and each character in a different guild
